Je suis en France!
What a week....drove all my belongings across France to my little French village, took about 10 hours, spent two days emptying the van and getting the place straightened out. It's really hot here and all I wanted to do was sit in the sun and drink beer....I feel like I am on holiday rather than in my new home...I wonder how long that will last. The cats seem to have settled in remarkably well, spent a fair bit of time under my bed the first day but now they are eating and sleeping on my feet and getting into everything like usual. Unfortunately tomorrow is my last day before I have to drive the van back to London and then I have 10 days of work, shooting more cows for a Supermarket, my pictures are going to be on all the milk cartons which will be funny, I have never shot for packaging before. When I get back to London, I will have a lodger in my house which is going to be really wierd, I haven't shared my home with anyone I wasn't fucking since I was a student, she's really a lovely girl but I don't fancy her at all which is probably best.
So, my crazy new life begins now! I have always wanted to have my cake and eat it, live in the countryside and work in the metropolis and now thats exactly what I am doing.......feel a bit guilty about all those flights though, my Carbon footprint is going to be huge!!!!
ALSO...I have only been away three days and they changed everything around here...change, change, change....such is life.
PS. Thanks SO much to all those people that sent me birthday wishes last month, I nearly cried, thanks especialy to FancyD who sent me a present all the way across the Atlantic.....how did you do that?

I get the carbon foot print now. We are pretty much killing the earth with everything, pollution, plastics, hormones, frightening. I dread the rebirth. It's why I keep my farm biodynamic. To try and compensate for the other crap going on.
It must be exhausting all that traveling, and exciting.
Peace
