Back from my friends wedding in Nebraska. No pics but I will speak with him and get some to post here of me in my tux and such.
Trip was fun overall:
Bad Things
---------------------
- Lincoln was cold and windy. The top temp was around 50.
- I missed out on getting a shave at a barber shop. I really wanted to get that done since it is hard to find that service anymore.
- The groom screwed up the "both shall" line during the ceremony.
- The bride forcing me do the bridal dance ordeal against my statements of not wanting to do it.
- All the bridesmaids were married and guess who had no chance with any gal that was at the whole event. So much for that whole wedding myth.
- No bachelor party!
- My back killed me the whole weekend until saturday night. *see below
Good Things
---------------------
- Free food and drinks the whole weekend.
- Hung out with some old friends and made some new ones.
- The guy actually got married after 9 years.
- Picked up House of Flying Daggers UMD for my PSP.
- I got a nice back massage from the one gal while her husband watched sports in the other room. With how my back felt it could have been whoever giving it to me as long as the pain went away. An attractive 5'7" around 110 gal was what I had to settle with though.
---------------------
The thing I did not like the most, which is what I get from most weddings, is that it and all the things that come out of it seems like something I will never have the chance to do in my life. Such is life though and I just keep on keeping on.

wtf:
Never been to Nebraska, but since I eventaully want to visist all 50 states, I guess I'll make it there! Maybe I'll wait until summer though. Sounds like you had an alright time, can't wait to see pics. Don't count yourself out of anything life has to offer yet. I'd like to think, errr believe we create 90 %. THe whole perception = reality thing. Anything is possible, no?
