Just got back from Pittsburgh. The guys did bring their wives. Woohoo I was the only single guy there, like always.
Friday was cool since we went out in one of those limo buses.
First stop was Station Square which had a nice musical fountain and some metal thing I did not mind to actually see what it was. We got some drinks at the one bar there. I was the only one carded and it was by some really nice looking girl which made it suck more.
Second stop was at Primanti Brothers which has the worst sandwiches ever. Who ever heard of a cheese steak that is really a beef patty with cheese, coleslaw and fries on it? YUCK
Saturday was a picnic at the house of the guy who ran the whole weekend. Sadly I did not drink that day since I was the designated driver. To say I had the worst time even though his 20 year old daugher and her 5 or so friends were there as eye candy is the understatement of the week. The only one of them that paid attention to me at all was some UofP nursing student who was the girlfriend/wife/doesn't matter of the hosts' nephew.
Next meeting is supposed to be in Baltimore next year which I might go to. Being the youngest person there and no one with anything in common except our work. Which I have no outside interest like they do.
All in all I probably would have been better off just sitting at home like I always do. I need a real life.

Next year maybe you'll take someone you'll wish to speak to about other matters besides work.
Limo buses are cool, being the DD sucks unless everyone else gets so shitfaced it qualifies as entertainment *barely* and then you get to watch and take blackmail pictures.
