So I went and took the 1971 VW Beetle for a drive today and even though it was around 85 out, I was wearing a long sleeve shirt and corduroy pants, I was not hot at all with the small windows open. The clutch was solid and it was a very nice ride.

Going to take it for another ride tomorrow and then most likely pony up the cash to buy it. Woohoo!

Late breaking news...

A pharmacist that works with my mom knows a girl and told her about me. I am supposed to call here to set up a "date" or whatever we shall call it.

She has no problem with me having tattoos or a septum piercing. In person is another thing though. All I can do is give it a shot. If it works all the much better but if not at least I tried.

What I know so far is:
1. about 5'3"
2. about 120 even though he was unsure of exacts since he said he can never really tell
3. 23 years old
4. brown hair
5. works as some pharmacist type position
6. working on an advanced degree in pharmacology I believe
7. looking to buy her own home
8. had a long term boyfriend but has not seen anyone in around 3-4 years which is about the same as myself.

None of that matters though but there it is anyways.

Now the question is what to propose we do for this "date".
