What a mad couple of days. I was in BBC Radio 1 on Monday and Tuesday trying my hand at plugging records to playlist teams and show producers. That's one job I'm ruling off my list of dream jobs then! Not an easy job, and can be quite demoralising over time I'm sure. Ah well, got to make a few contacts for the future anyway.
I'm officially a student again. I started a night school class last night at City University London. It's called "Making Music Work: An Introduction To The Music Industry", and is hopefully going to give me a good basis of knowledge to further my way in the music business, and set me up for more confidence in interviews in the future. Plus it's going to teach me most of what I need to know from a producer's point of view about publishing, contracts etc, and also may lead on to me doing further courses beyond this one.
So when I got home last night I then had to do a stand-in show on the radio which took me through until 1am. Man I was tired!
I've been getting into Vimeo recently. It's another one of those sites that makes you think "all I need is one good idea and I'd make a packet of money". It's real nicely put together though, so I may well start video blogging on there soon. I've uploaded a couple of vids I'm either in or have made/filmed. One of my favourite things at the moment is catching up with Amir and Streeter's Prank War videos. Check this one for a taster - I think it's hilarious.
More soon....until then....

Keep on doing what your trying to do with your music. I tried and didn't turn out to be what I wanted. It would've been nice, Eh..lol.
