Yay! I have my first SG friend, and I'm delighted that it's the wonderful Lizzi!
I'm very much looking forward to this week. As is my preference to lead a varied life - fresh from seeing NIN at Brixton Academy last Wednesday, I will be this Wednesday off to see Little Shop Of Horrors - the stage show - at the Duke Of York theatre. I always loved the film (the remake with Rick Moranis) and am really looking forward to seeing how they portray it on stage. Mike McShane's in it playing the voice of the plant! Yes, the dude off Who's Line Is It Anyway.
Friday brings a trip to Cargo for the XFM Remix night. Atomic Hooligan, and more importantly Future Funk Squad are playing live! Woot!
Saturday will probably be spent chilling (recovering) and then checking out the Banksy exhibition at Andipa in South Kensington. Then maybe a little more drinking and on to Platform 12 at The Key for Stanton Warriors, Koma & Bones and A Skillz. Bit of everything in there from funky booty shakin' stuff to hip hop mashups and deck skills, to some dark moody breaks.
Oh, and I guess I gotta do some work in there sometime too.
Bring on the week!
And to boot I'm mega excited to have got tickets to another KEVIN SMITH Q&A IN LONDON! The last one (that was filmed for the second "Evening With...." DVD) was such an amazing night - I hurt afterwards from laughing so much. Roll on 5th April!
Also, any Gossip and Jarvis Cocker fans should check this out - it's v cool!
