Miss Gorman passed away yesterday.
She was one of the most loved teachers at Gloucester Catholic High School. I had her for frosh year homeroom, and senior year psychology. She was one of the most nice, caring, honest genuine people I have ever met. An all around good soul, those are rare in this day and a age. she struggled with lung cancer for a long time, but always showed up to school even when you knew she wasnt feeling too good. She really cared about us kids. I recieved the news last night from various classmates starting around 7pm the calls and IM's started rolling in. People I hadnt even tlaked to in quite a while were getting in touch with me. Its a fucking shame this little mini reunion is the result of such bad news.. The viewing is on Sunday at St Marys church. I know at least my friend Jenna is gonna meet me ehre beforehand, and maybe some other people form my class. I can't make it to the funeral on Monday though. I'm just glad she isn't suffering anymore.

Sorry to hear the bad news. It's wonderful though, that you your classmates are getting together, or at least getting in contact with each other to remember her. It sounds like she was the type of teacher we all should have, one that in honestly interested in improving her students' lives.
