I've finally got a new laptop!!
I finally feel connected to the world again.
I'm looking for a frickin summer job.
If I'm lucky, I'll get a summer camp job I applied to as a camp counselor.
Or I'll work at Ricky's.
Or maybe both. I definitely need the money.
I saw The Strangers. It was pretty ok. The ending was rather weak for me but it did it's job of building up the suspense.
Also saw Sex and the City....LOVED it! It was a movie weekend for me.
I can not wait to start working. I have waaaay too much free time on my hands and I need money in my hands soon!
I decided to wear heels on a more regular basis from now on. I want to train my feet to be accustomed to wearing heels. So far, so good.
As for what's going on in the love department, I really don't know where I stand right now.
Technically I'm single but I still spend time with, hang out, cuddle, make out, fuck, and all the other crap I used to do with this guy.
It's such a complicated period in my life.
No, scratch that and rewind. It's a confusing period.
Eh. As far as him and I go...I told him that if he doesn't care I don't care.
I think that's the best mentality and attitude I can have right now. For myself anyway.
I just hope this summer will be a good one.
But on a good note, my older brother is FINALLY marrying his girlfriend of about 7 or 8 years this month!!
I'm so happy for them. biggrin

Camp counselor jobs tend not to pay well. Have you considered bank teller? Depending upon where you will live this summer and how far away your college is you could continue with them part-time after school starts. Or you could find a big bank Citi, Wells Fargo, Chase and just transfer between branches. Pay as a teller tends to be okay, the working conditions are good, and the only downside is the "public." Work with the public enough and you will understand - thank goodness I am in technology.
