Hello Ladies (and Gents),
The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of work, sleepless nights, and tons of shopping. Shopping for clothes, DVD's, but mostly music. Work is alright, pays the credit card bills, but these days there isn't much harmony at work. Has anyone ever worked with a 'difficult' person but for reasons (rent, school), cannot afford to quit their jobs? It's a total mindfuck and puts you in a really uneasy headspace. I try to tune work out when I get home. SG helps me relax
I am looking forward to the end of July!!! Death From Above 1979 is back in Toronto for 3 back-to-back shows! Was a nice surprise considering the fact that I thought they were finished with the North American part of their tour...such joy (for those of you who live in and around the Toronto area, check them out July 28th - 30th at the Horseshoe Tavern). In the meantime, my next shows are Feist (July 1st @ Harbourfront CIBC stage), and Controller Controller w/ VHS or Beta (Lee's Palace...July 20th) Y'all should come on out!
Yesterday I felt quite guilty for sleeping the whole day (I've been doing night shifts this week). Was supposed to go see a movie with my dear friend Kristine and her dear friend Robin...I missed all the fun. I think I should take them out to dinner, the least I can do. The world could always use any shape or form of humanitarian efforts
