I have been a vegetarian for 7 years now which most people find strange as I am 6'4 and look like a rugby international player (well I can wish) but I have always been OK with eating Eggs and drinking Milk, but I had a renationalisation that a. Farming is a business b. If an Animal Cow or Chicken stops producing they are slaughtered and probably sold for meat.
So even though I don't actively contribute to the slaughter of animals, by my action of still consuming produces derived from animals, even if it is free range and organic is still contributing the reason I stopped eating meat in the first place, this puts me into a quandary of sorts.
I don't know if I am ready to go to the next step, but awareness is the first step.
Well still working way to hard have a great weekend

I've been the same kind of vegetarian as you... for about as long too! Since 2001. I try and eat vegan when I can but I don't beat myself up over it if I can't maintain it. It's tricky.
