I might be a little blind I picked up my first pair of glasses yesterday. I am sure that the urban myth that people with glasses are more intelligent will be true for me. I sat in the optometrist chair and frikkin hell I did not realise how bad my eyes were it was like the fog had been lifted whoohoo.
I read like a demon last night page after page after page it was frikkin awesome.
On other news I have never been very political, but I am sure generally South Africans are a lot more politically aware that the general population on this planet, but as I get older and sorry to say a bit set in my ways, political ideology has started to become important to me and I just cannot sit on the fence any more, I believe in free-speech, thought and religion. It has just come a point where I have to choose how far I am willing to go, or not willing to go.
I believe in recycling, sustainable energy, organic foods, animal rights and the betterment of our planet (and trust me not in a "yo pass me the ganga", lets hug trees and not bath kind of way) in a really real way, I don't like countries that promote child labour and have a disregard for human freedom so I don't support any product produced in China and I don't see why western countries have to invest there either but now I am getting out of hand and not being very light and breezy.
I enjoy updating and reading peoples blogs it is just such a nice way to stay in touch and record what is happening, and I promise to be light and breezy for the next couple of weeks. I hope everyone has a great couple of days

Join the club!! I'm also blind without my trusty specs. I should (theoretically) wear them all the time, but only do so for reading, watching TV, at the movies, & working on the computer. If I don't, I get terrible eye strain & debilitating headaches. I've had the same pair of frames for about 7 years now. I reckon it's time for an update. What do you think about these?? (Worn by my secret girl crush on MySpace )
