I landed a really big deal website this last week for a medium sized Medical Aid company, been designing websites for almost 10 years now and this is the biggest, well not the biggest just the biggest client. It will really push my design skills to the max.
I won't be able to work in the garden this weekend and that sucks, will be designing on Saturday and Sunday at least it is for a good cause namely my bank balance. It has started to look very bleak with the house the car it tends to catch up on me. Jo-Anne and I bought a really large plot of land really off the beaten track, and the most amazing thing we thought we had so much space, and then it hits you an addiction to wanting more land. Just to extend our Herb and Vegetable Garden. I will have the most expensive Herbs in the whole of South Africa go figure.
I hate designing after-hours it's a real bind I enjoy vegging after a long day, and the last thing I want to do is some extra work, but I have been trying to change my attitude about it and fake enjoying the work, it seems to be helping.
Life is just frikkin awesome I get to do graphic design in my spare time, and it gets to pay for my trip to Lesotho at the beginning of May whoohoo.
I just cannot wait to test my Mitsubishi been itching to put on the diff lock, take the road less travelled and stop wherever. I want just a week of off-road driving and getting away from the daily grind.

Your talk of getting out into the wilderness is making me yearn for some of the same. City walls tend to close in on one after a while, & it's nice to get some fresh air & recharge one's batteries. The last time we were out Lesotho way was in mid-June 2005. We went snowboarding at Tiffindell for our honeymoon. What a blast!!
