Okay, I'm signing off until Tuesday...unless SBC DSL decides to arrive at my new place a little earlier. It will probably be a nice little internet break.
Today I started my bi-annual 10 day juice fast too, so I like to try to stay home, nice and quiet and sink inside myself. Think about things, think about from where I've come and where I want to go and what I need to do to get there. The last one I did was in April and it was an amazing experience. It really was a turning point in my life, and I can't believe how quickly the last 6 months have gone by already.
Despite my run of bad luck lately, I really am enjoying my life right now. That's a good feeling.
Now, back to the bad luck part. I've known my phone was about to kick it soon (just like I knew with my car and it did). Well, mid-text message conversation with trucksandorweed my phone screen went out. So my cell phone is pretty much like an old school cordless right now.
WHICH MEANS, if you think I have your number, I don't. I don't memorize shit. And I do not get your text messages, so don't even try. And I'm too busy moving right now to try to hunt down everyone's number, so if you happen to call me please speak your telephone number so that I may call you back...and leave a message for God's sakes! I won't be able to see that you called.
The good news with all of this is that the universe seems to want to keep things at a delicate balance for me lately. No car, no job, no place to live, but I HAVE A PHONE! Then I found a great place to live, and before I even signed the lease, no phone. If my phone totally sputters out, that may be a good sign because I have a job interview today for a job using my masters degree and I would much rather have a full-time day job than a phone if I must only be allowed to have one thing going for me in my life.
So, chop chop! Wish me luck. I'm crazy tired from moving right now (no sleep last night) and I have a tendency to say really strange things and laugh inappropriately when this happens. It's fun for me and my roommate, but probably not great for a first interview......
