Just had to say that I had a fabulous time this weekend with rojo and crew....not that I expected anything less! gord462 apparently couldn't handle us because he sat Sunday FunDay out. It started with great margaritas and grilling out on the patio and ended with a slew of Washington Apple shots and more hot guys than I've ever seen at The Tavern. Today was a very circular chain of events: Meeting the cute bartender, Eric, at The Tavern -> Lots o' drinking at The Tavern -> Breakfast at The Mission -> Shopping at The Basement across the street -> Hearing new Morcheeba -> Searching for it at Second Spin -> Finally finding Tabularasa -> Reading a shout out in the cd insert from Tabularasa to Eric at The Tavern.
After this chain of events, I am now the proud owner of: 1 red/black lace strapless shirt-dress, 1 bright blue belt, 1 black watch, 16 black jelly bracelets, a pair of black jelly earrings, 1 Tabularasa cd, 2 Morcheeba cds, 1 Bright Eyes cd, 1 Modest Mouse cd (I guess this is my way of saying I miss you already rojo), a damaged liver, and probably approximately 2 lbs. of bodyfat.
For MY shout out I'd like to thank all who contributed yesterday to the #5 thing I cannot live without (hysterical laughter) because there was lots of it; the creepy guy for hanging out because I almost flashed Isaac my left tit; the cab driver for taking us away from Johnny; my brother for scaring away Johnny when he showed up at 6 AM looking for a blonde, a redhead and his phone (rojo, I think it was in my pocket because we used it to call the cab since I am blackballed); and all the nice bartenders working at the beach bars last night.
Best Quote of Last Night (overheard in the Ladies room): "I'm not going to wash my hands because I know I'm going to touch something much dirtier tonight"......what?!? I guess the same thing happened to rojo the last time she visited because she had to shower with him the next morning!
Worst thing about today: Feeling guilty about skipping class AGAIN and then feeling secondary guilt for not feeling as guilty as I should have felt
Best thing about today: Once again experiencing hysterical laughter after witnessing my brother Adam sleeptalking mid-nap....it's been so long! It went something like this: "Iwannafoshuckerso.....ehma.....oowishawisha....let's get the pullout puppies!" Luckily my other brother Josh was there to translate: "I think he's saying he wants to pull out the couch-bed so we can all lay down and watch TV....."
Best news of the day: that my old buddy Frank will also be going to the bartending convention in Vegas next week, he doesn't like to gamble, and he's got passes to all the hot parties....whew hoo! I might learn to love Vegas afterall!
And one last thing: I need help with my homework. I am supposed to be doing a self-monitoring project for my assessment class. I need to choose some behavior or communication that I can change to improve my relationship/s and then write an analysis of how I monitored it and if anything improved. The example is: choosing to use more affectionate behaviors toward your partner. What the whack am I supposed to change? I guess one thing that might help me is that my two brothers are visiting this week.....maybe something with that relationship? HELP! I need to start yesterday!
