What a great Halloween themed blog homework!
While I've never had a paranormal experience with ghost or anything supernatural, I did have an encounter with a medium once that was pretty goose bump inducing!
My abuela lived with me throughout my whole life, every memory I have growing up she is included in. She was my everything, and since I was a young girl my dream was for my grandmother to attend my wedding (cheesy, I know)
Well high school ended and my then high school sweetheart was entering the military and we decided we were going to get married so that I could move with him to San Antonio. The wedding was set for September, and in July my abuela was put on hospice and later that month passed away. I was DEVASTATED, to say my whole world collapsed is an understatement. In her memory I got a magnolia tattoo (her favorite flower, top right shoulder) and my bridesmaids and myself wore magnolias in our hair at the wedding.
Flash forward to November..my then husband and myself were situating ourselves in San Antonio, and the depression of losing my grandmother while starting all over in a new city was becoming overwhelming and suffocating. I really felt that at any point I was going to have a serious breakdown.
Anyways, one night I'm at the supermarket getting a few things and I get a call from my mother in law Angie, and shes freaking the fuck out. She tells me that day at work (she was a dental office receptionist) a new patient arrived and checked in, but before heading to her seat asked if she had just gained a new daughter. Angie looked up and said "actually my son just got married and so I have a new daughter in law" the woman looked at her and explained how she was a medium and that spirits were trying to come through to her. She asked if she knew anybody by the name Maria ( abuelas name) and explained "you need to tell your new daughter with the long dark hair that Maria wants her to stop stressing and move on with her life".
Y'all I made a serious scene in the middle of the supermarket, like ugly weeping
Of course I immediately called my mother and explained to her what happened, and then we proceeded to continue freaking out..It was a life changing event, and really helped me to deal with all of the stress
Take it or leave it, but that't my paranormal story, anybody else have any cool paranormal/spirits stories?
Happy Halloween SG land!
