Last week (I know I'm late) @missy and @rambo asked us how SG has changed our lives.
My love for SG blossomed when I was in high school. I saw things Playboy and always thought to myself 'that looks like fun' but they were all so cookie cutter and I felt like I'd never make the cut. Then one day while scrolling through my dash on tumblr, I saw a picture of @radeo . She was flawless. Absolutely breathtaking. She looked so confident and so strong, she seemed so proud to be who she was. I was so inspired. I wanted to be like that.
Once I found more SG's like @damsel , @dimples and @sash I knew that the day I turned 18 I would apply for SG.
Since applying and becoming apart of the community so many awesome things have happened. I've met amazing people and have made some amazing friends (I've even gotten to see a few of them go pink!), I was able to go to New York to see the burlesque show and meet a lot of my favorite SG's, and having the support of the community has kept me going more than anyone could ever know.
Regardless of whether I go pink or not (hopefully I do!) I could never thank SG enough for helping me learn to love and accept myself just the way I am! (:
