I think it's kind of funny that for my first tattoo I got these 2 little script pieces and then for my second tattoo I was like "yeah, just my entire shoulder."
I've always wanted roses as a tattoo so this was super exciting for 19 year old me! Unfortunately the artist didn't do what I wanted and I've kind of had a bit of distaste for this tattoo. Buuut as the years go on, I'm learning to love it more.
I asked for roses with red *shading* but I guess the artist didn't understand or just had a different vision and completely coloured in the roses.
Pictures go from 19 y/o (when I first got it) to 21 y/o to 25 y/o (now). As you can see the colour has faded from it quite a bit. But even as a fresh tattoo the flowers looked messy and I accidentally tore a bit of the tattoo out during the healing process 😭 When I woke up one morning, my tattoo scab had fused to the pillow and it tore off when I sat up 😬 pretty nasty...
Anyways, regardless of how I feel about the tattoo, it seems to get the most compliments out of all of my tats and that's definitely helped me grow to love it. I think I will get it reworked when I find the right artist but for now, I just have to be happy with what I got 😊
