What a fantastic weekend. Had to work Saturday for a few hours, but got to spend most of the day with Nereid. Then we took both families (and a couple friends) to the Red Deer College Arts Centre to see The Sound of Music. There is so much amazing talent that comes out of our college arts program. It was amazing.
For the first time in months, got to go to bed Saturday nite without setting the alarm, and actually didn't get out of bed till ten. Usually I'm up at 5 regardless of the alarm being set or not.
Then spent the whole day with Nereid. Got the office all organized so she could be on the puter and study, and I could do some film interpretation, and matte cutting. Have a massive workspace for cutting mattes now. It's fantastic.
Anybody out there know any interesting cuts for mattes?
But today is monday... 21 more sleeps till we fly blue skies all the way to California.

My friends promotion. We were celebrating a promotion.
