Hey there! I went to Made in America Fest this past Sunday and it was such an awesome experience! There was a lot of great music and fun people there. I hadn't seen most of the performers there before and came away really impressed. I had heard Macklemore and Ryan Lewis put on a great show and they lived up to it. Queens of the Stone Age started out a little shaky but their sound guy must have tweeked something because the rest of the show was pretty good. Wiz Khalifa was probably the second best show of the day. He really puts a lot of energy out and being out in the crowd was during his set was awesome. And then NIN now probably has two of my top five best shows I've ever seen. Trent mixed up some of his songs and they sounded amazing! Such a great set and I wish he came around on tour more.
Oh and this happened too....'Murica!!!!
In other news, I'm going on a semi-impromptu road trip. I'll be going from Philly back to Kansas City from Thursday to Monday. I think I'll be stopping in the St. Louis area on the way to rest up, maybe go out a little and check out the city. Nothings really set in stone, I may change my mind and stop earlier depending on what time I leave. Might end up stopping in Indy or Columbus. Any recommendations on some cool places to go out or things to check out not far off I-70 along the way? I've driven back and forth a couple times before but usually drive straight through and don't stop so I'd like to check some things out this time. Pretty excited to get out and take another road trip. Let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks!
