IIIII'MMMMM BBBBBAAAACCCCKKKK!!!! Didja miss me?
So, I left Friday and boarded the Virgin plane to Adeliade (which I can never spell correctly). I got rather sick on the desent with my chest seezing up and nearly fainting. Blah. Adam's parents are wonderful!! I love his house, and there dog Inara (a husky) is gorgeous!! We just sat around the table and talked all night.
Saturday we went into town, I walked down rundle mall and got the best shoes! I've looked at them to import from Amrica or the Uk, but to find then in Australia I was stoked! They are pink with black stars, a white banner, and one says 'Lady' the other says 'luck'. Later that afternoon I met the rest of Adams family. His Three brothers, there girlfriends, and his 6 nieces and nephews, plus some other family memebers and friends. They where all rather nice, and yeah.
Sunday we went to a craft fair at a race corse! Craft everywhere, it follows me. I got some nice lemon butter to use when I cook fish and we got a set of beautifull coasters. We went to this market type place called 'The brickworks' and OMG THEY SELL FROGS AND TURTLES IN PET STORES!!!111!!!. We went to dinner that night in North Adeliade, I had some yummeh calamari, we walked around some then hopped in the car and went to this cafe place called 'Vili's' for coffee.
Monday we took the dog to the beach (Glenelg) onlt for it to start pouring when we got there, so we walked her around the shops and had Macca's for lunch, now I may as well get onto this now, but Adeliade food is so different to Sydney. Now, All McDonalds in Adeliade seem to have this super menu with one burger we dont have (The Aussie Burger), and I have only come across 2 MCDonalds near me that sell the Double Quarter Pouner and Tripple Cheeseburger, every adeliade store has them. Plus it's nicer! Now, they call Kebab's Yiros's. WTF IS A YIROS!!?! And they are obsesses with this iced coffee drink, they sell it EVERYWHERE! Adam and I then decided to jump on a tram! (Yay trams!!) and head to the city. We stepped of the train, it bucked down, only for us to wlak 15 minutes to find shelter, I was soaked to the bone, and now have to throw out the shoes I was wearing.
Tuesday we went to Adam's local shopping center, Arndale. This one shop. OMG HEAVEN! It is filled with Nightmare before Christmas, Emily the Strange and Paul Frank stuff. *Queue me wanting to speand $8732627836.* Adam's mum also bought me a pair of jeans! I have not owned a pair of jeans in like 10 years, seriously! Wednesday we went to the movies and saw Scary Movie 4. Pfft. I didn't really enoy it as much as the others. I got really sick too, was bad, and yucky, but oh well. And today I headed home. I was so nautious before the flight and anxious it wasn't funny. We had to leave early cause of traffic jams to an ikea store openng near the terminal.
And now i'm back! I loved Adeliade, it was so pretty from teh beautiful old churches, to the great bus system, to the great shops. AND OMG cheap peircings! And I can't forget about being able to sell reptiles and teh likes in pet stores (Illegal in NSW). Adam wants me to move there in the future, and who knows, maybe I will. I could see myself living there. We can only see.
