Well, I finally achieved it. It's not a big deal, but a big noise film: "The fourth world war".
Back in 2003, I met the guys of Big Noise in Cancun, Mexico, during the coverage of the protests against WTO meeting. I was on the right side of the fence (the people's side, of course) and met this guys. Later, they showed me at the Independent Media Center the advances on their film TFWW. I was shocked. Because of the powerful images but, mainly, because of the way this guys where putting together the puzzle of the film. It was an amazingly strong and beautiful discourse, and I was willing to look at the entire film.
But years go by and I actually wasn't able to look at it, complete. I guess it was because of my bad luck or maybe because it was kinda difficult to get a copy on the film. But tonight I recieved a package on my home door, and when I look at it, I saw the Big Noise logo. Jesus.
Yeah, the guys sent me a dvd copy. I don't know why, but they reminded me. And they send it to me, 5 years later. WOW.
Here's my point: fight the good fight, and take a look on how people is struggling all over the world, in Argentina, Italy, the US, Mexico, South Africa, EVERYWHERE. This film is totally inspiring and by far one of the best documentary pieces I've seen in my life.
Thank god big noise exists.
