Talking about new beauty standars, i think suicide girls, tattoo magazines and the whole tattoo culture media are just developing a new perception on tattoos. Almost a year ago I wrote something about the discrimination that tattoed people is suffering all over the world. Specially at my country, Mexico.

Well, a few months ago I received a phone call at my office at the radio from a tattoo parlor... interested in knowing my opinion about "starting a political movement for the human rights of the tattoed people". Hell yeah, I thought. Now we at the radio are working in developing a few communication tools (web site and radio campaign, mainly) for this new group.

But at the same time, it's kinda curious that, a few days ago, I saw a new Barbie tv ad... I cannot remember the concept, barbie-something, but the fact is that the barbie accesories include now... some tattoos. YEP. I'm now trying to find out more (waiting for the ad to be bradcasted again) but anyhow... it was kind of shocking-funny.

Are we the modified going to finaly be as fancy as a new barbie doll?
