Yesterday I had a really shitty day at work. I kept having a customer call in repeatedly and he would not accept or understand that we had done everything we could do for him. I even offered to transfer him to customer service to log a complaint. He had called in 4 time that day every time I spent at least a half hour of listening to him bitch at me that we don't understand or care. During the last call I hung up on him which resulted in me getting yelled at and by 2 managers and me yelling back.
Needless to say I'm finally done with this shit job that's killing my soul and have given them my resignation today. My last will be Sept. 20th.
For some background knowledge my day job is Tech Support for domain registration and website hosting. The majority of the calls I take are people that have screwed up their hosting and are call to blame my company for it and want me to wave a magical wand to fix it.
I've been doing this for 4 yrs and am now burnt out and losing faith in humanity. I have no idea how I'm going to pay rent net month but not know it better than working in this industry.
