So a few months back my friend Alec turns to me and tells me he's been doing research on distilling his own liquor and that you can use a water distiller by removing the carbon filter.
I turn to him and say I have a water distiller that I'm not using, we should do this together. He then shows me some of his research.
Due to our schedules we were not able to get together to do this until Sunday. We distilled 3 liters of wine cheap White Zinfandel which comes out as a clear Brandy.
Surprisingly enough it tasted really good. We took Picture and Video so hopefully I'll be posting those soon!
We intend to try different wines, then making our own mash and eventually building our own copper still!!
