I am superstitious, antisocial, and tired.
1. I am covered in henna worship, my lucky leg warmers are back on, and I can't bare to watch the games anywhere but home. However, if I lived in MA or anywhere in the northeast, I wonder if I would venture out to a sports bar? Would I force myself to live a normal, happy life?
2. I have to go to a brunch with friends today. I hate brunch.
3. Espresso can only do so much.
back to 1. I had to change my journal entry to not express enthusiasm over you know what.
I am reading The Conquest of the Incas and I now have a severe distaste for the Christian expansion and Spaniards. One interesting thing I learned was that Incas (likely the ones around Cuzco and at other high altitudes) had enlarged lungs and spleens - didn't expect the enlarged spleen, but I guess I should have?
I saw "The Day After Tomorrow", not a quality movie AT ALL, but it's crazy, New Yorkers running frantically in the streets away from impending doom (water, in this case) made me have flashbacks to 9/11! I wasn't even there! I mean, I saw it all on TV and it was during some terrible times (adjustment to California ), but I've put up stronger walls when relatives have died. I just can't let go.
Brunch calls, I miss Evil.
