Argh this this pisses me off to no end. It's complete and utter hypocricy. "Protecting the Sanctity of Marriage" is a joke. Any logical person who heard that phrase and what it meant, and was at ALL familiar with American culture... would be laughing at it, bewildered at who the hell came up with it. You wanna protect the sanctity of marriage!? CANCEL the show...

I cannot comprehend mass people. Who are they, where do they come from? How can They have you so zombified that you aren't even curious, it doesn't even cross your mind as to why these "truths" this "common sense" they fucking straight plug into your brain creates a pretty little world in your head with enough drama to keep you there. Why don't the mass...

The most intelligent people I have met trying to promote this unseen, unheard revolution have been teachers; my high school sociology teacher fo sho. They figure the best way to promote the curiosity is to get em when they're young. I owe my life to that woman, until I met her and took her classes, I wanted to be an air-line stewardess! Now I've got about a year left on my associate's in applied science (sociology), and I'm planning on teaching sociology to help motivate more. It's not enough, but it's what I can do. Other powerful influences have been people I know who write books. Because when you Know... you cannot keep it to yourself.

to answer your question in my journal...

NOPE. I wasn't ever one of the corner kids in Royal Oak. I've spent a good amount of time there though (my guitar player lives there) and used to hang out there quite a bit when I was in high school ('97-2001) but I was never part of the group of "cool" kids outside of Caribou Coffee.
ha...not to belittle them though. There was always some good people there to have good conversation with. My band periodically plays at the KofC hall just otuside of Downtown Royal (J)Oak sometimes. You should drop by and see the next show (Infact, we're playing an in-store show at record time in Ferndale in a few weeks, just a hop, skip an' a jump from you.)

Wow thanks. Your the first SG I've talked to and I'm all nervous. smile

You should really read CUNT though, by inga muscio. She's the cutest little lesbian! But the book kicks so much ass, I wanna give it to my grandma. Words cannot express how much you should read this book.
