OK, so it's been a while since an update from me. But to be honest, not a whole lot exciting has happened. 
I've just been enjoying the weather that we're (finally) getting, mostly.
I found a local store that sells Pixel Blocks the other day. I saw them online a few months ago, but didn't want to go through the trouble of ordering them and then wind up paying duty to get them in from the USA, etc. But, that wasn't an issue in the store obviously, so I bought a box of them. Pretty fun! They're like graphics-nerd lego's. So far I've made a pixel-skull, a space invader guy, and two giraffe's.
And tommorrow night I'm jamming with some guys.. yay! I haven't had any steady people to play with in years! Well, since I moved here in 2000 after my old bands "big tour" (7 weeks, including a stop on the Warped Tour
). Not really much idea on what we're going to be playing (probably more of an "indie rock" type thing), but at this point just playing will be enough for me! Also the guitarist from my old band moved here recently and is looking to start playing again as well... Just need to find a drummer.
Well, time to grab something to eat and get to work I guess. ugh. Ciao.

i feel the same about the weather... finally it seems that summer is getting over its shyness. thank goodness

Hey, good comments on the recording - you were right about the fullness. I've done 5 mixes since then, things are sounding more full. I tend to "overfill" stuff, so I've been very conscious about keeping things light. I'm hoping to finish up tonight, so I'll let you know when I've got the finished songs!
