So when did I realise I was an "adult"?
Well, I've always been a little bit of a "mess" unstable and an emotional person jumping from fuckboi to dodgy relationship unable to really find a calm and comfortable life.
Little under 2 years ago my life was a total mess, I was obsessed with a guy who had zero interest in me and would never make time for me, I tried dating him. Oh don't get me wrong he wasn't the cause of the mess I almost certainly was, the poor guy just added fuel to the fire.
I needed stability and had been trying to buy a flat for about 10 months and stuff just kept going wrong.
A year ago in January I finally moved into a flat I was buying. This for me was a big turning point into adulthood.
However I still wasn't quite there, I was serial dating and settled for the first person to latch on and stick around. Big mistake. He was more needy and insecure than me and this was the point when I realised I couldn't be that guy! I broke up with him and focused on myself I ran a 5k assault course and became a fitter and healthier person lived alone for quite some time before meeting an amazing french man. We now live together and have been since January. We are planning a life, we complement each other in every way and have very similar dreams for the future.
This week I realised I can not remember the last time I cried (this used to be a daily struggle for me) but now my life is on track for the first time ever and I'm so happy. This week was the week I finally realised, I am a stable and fully functional adult, therefore it's quite ironic that this week is also the day that blog homework is about when you realised you were an "adult".

That said anytime I say "I'm an adult" I can't not sing lonely island Threw it on the ground 😂 so yeah I'm real mature ha.
