Started into the gigabyte of 3-minute SG Videos that have been sitting forlornly on my hard disk since SG started making them.
Quick observation though: People generally know what they like ... what length of hair you find most attractive, curvature, skin-tone, whatever ... in the pictures I recognizie those qualities and obviously favour some photosets over others ...
But in the videos ... take a person who I may not find that attractive in still poses, but then have them move and interact naturally around the set and talk about how they enjoy Burning Man or video games or their journalism career ... that revelation of personality adds a level of sexiness to my perception of them.
Actually, that takes me into a topic that I've been meaning to get into for a long time. The thing that I really should be doing but haven't is reading the SG Girl's journals. It's a requirement to be a model ... I mean, if you're mantra is about not just being a pretty face, you've got to contribute something else as well, right? I didn't need videos to peek into the lives and thoughts of these SuicideGirls, I merely needed to hit the same blog-system I'm using now and read up on their worries, their concerns, their interests...
Obviously, like most things, there's a huge signal-to-noise ratio. But after hitting Kera's (for instance) blog, the long worries over her best friend being stationed in the Afghanistan really ... can you really desire a women to be naked at your convenience as you read that? It changes your perception and places things into cross purposes, considering I'm on an altaporn site. I don't know if this concept and thought makes me a beast or makes this post a success.
