Oh hi thar. I'm back again, and maybe this time I'll be slightly more active than posting once every 9 months.
Not much has changed on this front - still in school, working part time for a worldwide engineering firm. Fortunately, I'll have an easy final semester next spring since I'll only be taking 3 classes.
Totalled my SVT last month. That was a bit scary, and it couldn't have happened at a worse time financially, nor a worse time considering stress levels. Slowed down to about 55 when some really heavy rain suddently began on 96 last month, but it wasn't slow enough. Began hydroplaning, which I haven't had happen before, but wasn't able to regain control this time. I hit the center concrete barrier going about 50 at a 45 degree angle, backwards. No one else around, and fortunately I only broke a finger.
Really sucks ass because the car was paid off just a year ago, and with 8 months of school left, I couldn't really afford to get something else, yet I need something reliable enough that I won't have to do work on since I have no garage or tools here.
I argued with Progressive for a couple weeks, but still got barely what the car was worth to me. The only good thing in this matter is that I now have a new Mazda 3s w/ a manual, and my father was still able to get me an A plan discount code.
Should I expect anything different from life? Meh.
