I was originally looking to adopt from a shelter, but it wasn't working for me for various reasons.
One shelter wanted $450 adoption fee.
The other wanted to send a volunteer to check out my house.
Another one had a huge list of questions, I stopped with:
"are you planning on getting pregnant"?
" Is your spouse out of town often"?
THIS IS NOT COOL.
My doctor can ask about my future pregnancy. I am just not comfortable discussing my body with a shelter worker. ALso asking if I am home alone often is not cool.
Sooo I found a breeder. Spent all my savings on this pup, but he is well worth it
His name is Indy (short for Indigo)
