So I'm in this show called Swing. Its a big band musical revue/tribute to the giants of the 30's/40's swing era. I'm gonna plug it, so y'all can just bear with me.
I am one of the male vocal leads, so I get to rock out on a wicked high Cherry Poppin' Daddy's-esque song "Throw that Girl Around", as well as a USO show segment, and a Jimmy Durante/Frank Sinatra tribute "All of Me/I Won't Dance." But in addition to me, there are also some of the finest dancers in NY, as well as other vocalists, and let's face it, swing music is cool no matter how grunge or "I hate my life you are."
SO, while I am severely overworked juggling that, school, rehearsals, and 2 thesises (theses? hahahah), if ANYONE has any interest in coming to see me (dressed much like I am in the icon, strangely) sing and dance my heart out like the corny theatre boy I am, e mail me (Its under contact).
Wagner College, Staten Island NY, from October 6-17th. Be there or eat my balls.
...or be there AND eat my balls...whatever works...
