Thunderstorm- I don't drive stick, but for the people that did drive stick before hand in my class seemed to be a lot more comfortable because they already understood shifting and how to work the clutch. I think you will be fine, if you are nervous about the bike I recommend taking the course because they take you step by step through everything. If I can do it, I am sure you can!
