Well, I think you should be careful. This is an industry that tends to swallow people into it, thus becoming a lifestyle. I've lost a relationship to stripping, and although my current one also dances, and thankfully it's working out beautifully, it still affects her, and if it wasn't for the money, she would have stopped a while ago. But being in a steady relationship helps. What worries me is the fragile state you find yourself in lately and the possibility you might end up looking to find comfort or a false sense of being in this job. Not immediately, because it'll probably take you a while to feel comfortable in your surroundings, but the job is like a drug, and the elements you'll be exposed to frankly will not be too positive. And considering how young you are, and how susceptible you have been feeling lately, I think it would be wise for you to get your head, feelings and heart straight, and explore other avenues before thinking of going into stripping.

I know that knocking on stripping may not get me popularity points in this place, but I do sense some hesitation in your decision, otherwise you wouldn't be looking to our opinion.
But whatever you decide to do, I hope it brings you the happiness you deserve, and if it doesn't, NEVER SETTLE!!!

just remember that the percentage of "gentleman" in gentlemans clubs is really small. if you check out the place and you feel like its safe and comfortable then do it. but if you have reservations then hold out for something better.
