Choco-late night talks.

5 minutes ago, not much more longer I found myself with one of my house mates, one that I consider the only person I trust on here, sitting on a coach eating chocolate and we started to share stupid thing, last relationships, weird working days, etc... just normal stuff that two girls could share while eating some yummy chocolate.

Then the longest topic just came out: "MAKE-UP". Not talking about cosmetics, we meant something more abstract maybe like how some people somehow is able to like everything you do, to be agree with everything you do, pretend after a whole make-up copy of themselves. Whenever they talk trying to be nice you can notice just looking at their eyes that's not really what the mean. The main problem is the image, for them is the most important thing to show.

Big example: A woman we know. A lovely old woman, human rights campaigner, totally taking care of bringing peace to this world and unify people no matter from where they're, at least that's how people see her from outside. Of course she's lovely, when she's in front of someone she wants to impress, but then is the same woman that wants everything perfect, at the moment and she doesn't care on how to get it, then the people working there is nothing but tools from her point of view, she doesn't know them as the ant's queen doesn't know the builder ants, and if one of them die she doesn't care as long as the rest keep on working in her beautiful anthill (maybe is an extreme comparison, but for sure you got it that way). So she owns a centre based on this kind of peacefull "charity" which its first aim is to bring that inner peace to everyone who visits it, once again the problem is that it really is about money, that's everything that matters, getting her face in the news and getting more money. The essence of that place is somehow lost, it's a beautiful idea, yeah, but it's only a way to make-up the real aim, a cover, a fake wall to bring a first view into people's eyes.

This kind of make-up thing is just something that pisses me off. So here we are, dealing with this kind of stupid situations, dealing with how that kind of selfishness can't destroy the magic of a truly beautiful place.

Sorry for this long blog guys, but I felt like sharing it and maybe this is something that you feel identified with at some point of your life.

Thanks for reading! ;) YOU'RE ALL AWESOME (and yeah, I don't say it everyday but I think you should know it) I love the way you all get involved with the blogging stuff <3

Your insight is impressive and the ability to see past someone else's facade is rare. We are all usually too consumed by our own insecurities to focus on the things around us and especially the people around us. Most are too worried about our own self projection to see past someone else's. If everyone did they might realize that they really don't have much to be insecure about because we're all in the same boat. There is something to consider concerning these people that seem so horrible like the woman you mentioned. She probably acts this way because she feels incredibly insecure, scared, and hurt. She does these things to try and prove her self worth to herself. She is blinded by her need to achieve these goals that for whatever reason she thinks prove she is a good person. Now I'm pretty sure she doesn't realize any of this and probably wouldn't believe anyone that tried to tell her any of this. And of course I don't know this woman so I could be completely wrong but I've found this to be true quite often. I think realizing where these people are coming from sometimes makes it easier to deal with them just from the standpoint that it can ease some of the hatred that we might feel for them and might even provide a bit of a sense of sympathy for them. Now even though I've written all of this I don't want to give you the wrong idea. I don't care if I know that deep down inside someone there's a crying scared little child who has no self worth, there is no way in hell I'm going to enable someone to act like a total and complete asshole toward me or anyone else that I know. Letting them get away with their behavior just makes things worse for them as well as everyone else. Anyhow I've babbled on enough. Hope this gives you something to think about and just so you know these are just my ideas, I don't claim to be right about any of it.
