So, I finally Got a god job again (besides the crappy part-time jobs I've been working). It's funny, for a while I couldn't find anything. The last month, I have been interviewing like crazy. I was getting worried because I wasn't getting any callbacks and the listings went dead again. While I was interviewing though, I chose one company I really liked. I got turned down for a few jobs and this one kept me waiting. Yesterday morning they called me back and made me an offer. An hour later, one of the jobs that turned me down called me back and made an offer. An hour after that another called and made an offer. I had already decided where I wanted to work but, it's weird. Five and a half months of working three part-times and tossing out dozens of resumes with little or no interest, I get all of these great offers. The good news is, the job I took is $8.00 more than I was making at the place I worked before. The company makes parts for spacecraft so I will get to travel to launch sites. I will work a 4-10 schedule and have a three day weekend most weeks. On top of that, I get a raise in three months. Looks like no more top ramen for me!!!1
