ok damnit... i need a REAL vacation. i'm thinking Crete, Turkey, maybe Italy? though, if i go alone i might not return and then i'd be in trouble with family. that's one reason i need someone to go with me... so i have a better chance of returning. its worked in the past. someone always ends up wanting to come back home. not me though - i'd rather just keep on driving. one of these days i'm going to make it up to alaska... once that happens i'll be gone for a couple of years at least. hell, if i can get an internet connection i might be able to do my job from where ever i end up. that would be awesome! satellite phones are a little pricy, but give me enough time - i'll find a way to make it happen.
