It's about time for a new one I suppose...:
Finally new turntables, which means I can actually pick up djing again after a 3 year break. My gf keeps calling me a "bedroom DJ" because she's never actually seen me play out, but that should change soon. I'm HOPING I can put this little tour together with my fellow wax-jockey Paul. He's such a good guy, no ego whatsoever and talent out the ass. I've come to realize how utterly lame being a dj is. It used to spark conversation, now its kindof a "oh, you're one too...sigh (roll eyes)" kindof thing. Been llistening to some older stuff like "Heaven Scent" and "1999" today in the car. Man, that takes me back to such a good place in my head. I almost teared up a little from nostalgia. Is it weird to feel that way about something that was only like 6 years ago? Sometimes I forget how much time has passed between things in my life. Its like when I was a kid everything was so sharp and now everything sortof runs together in pools of weeks and months. Well I lost another speaker in my car today...I keep having to crank the volume which makes me VERY afraid for my ears. I mean my ears are a huge part of my life and I feel like I'm already having trouble with them. You ever get that feeling you're actually falling apart instead of improving? Yikes now I'm sounding emo, I better shut up....

Thats true! When I looked out the window at midnight last night it was really thick snow so I made two little birds out of snow but it realloy hurt my hands!
