It's finally let me on using my PC again!

the London Thames should be ok I think it would need a tidle surge to make it go over the top, plus you have the Thames barrier. About a mile from where I live they reckon the Thames will burst its bank today and cause quite widespread flooding to Purley and Pangbourne, luckily we live on a hill
