I went to visit a couple of friends in Montreal over the weekend. Really, really nice weekend, with some fun people.
It's not usually like me, but I got myself to go up there without any agenda whatsoever.
There was a large enough crew of us expected to be there, so it would've been a bad idea for me to have a list of must-dos. I'm really prone to disappointment, and thinking ahead or planning would've just guaranteed some sadness and bitterness. I just kicked back, and enjoyed wherever I was taken.

I've got to say, though, I'm now way more aware and weary of the dangers of traveling with stoners. Once we drove up there (yup, like 8 hours), all weekend no matter what we'd decided to do, no matter how ready I was to move on and do it, there was an entourage of lollygaggers totally dragging down any inkling of excitement I had for whatever it was. It took forever to get anywhere or do anything.
I know that the vast majority of you reading this are pretty down with the magic plant, and I love you. But from now on...

I'll just meet you there.
