Back from the East Coast Camping Trip, and relieved to say it was a really, really great time.
Yeah, I was actually worried. Worried it would be too mellow or uneventful. Not the case. Folks _made_ things happen, and that makes anything a good time.
I rafted, I swam in a river, I made hot dogs over a fire, I drank plenty (including a crazy variety of things that people would just hand me), I gave a fun (albeit flawed) strip tease, was challenged to dance like a white guy (sorry everyone, that was really hard), sat in at Camp No Pants, played fun games, assembled the Pimp Suite one more time (anyone have a photo of that?), hooted and hollered aloud in the mosquito-infested darkness of the woods with fellow booze-fueled scoundrels.
That trip is nothing without the people there. Staff and organizers: NICE ONE!!!
I hope I gave as much love to everyone I knew there as they deserved, and I'm elated about everyone I met for the first time; I hope I got that across.
Ow, my calves.
