It's been a minute since I've had both the time to post something and had something to say.
I'm pretty psyched for Friday night. Starting it off with Vimes seeing the Rolling Stones at the IMAX theater, and surely following that with a rampage of pillaging and villainy.
Very very recently, like tonight, I finally finished Lolita. (I roll like that with books. I think I started in October. Maybe?)
It was marvelous at putting you in a setting, putting you in someone's mindset, titillating you, and having you cheer on the absolute wrongest character. Add to that that it's amazingly written. Quotable from beginning to end.
