I got to go to Claude Monet's house outside of Paris, in a village called Giverny. All of his waterlilly paintings were based on a pond he had built on his property, and he also did paintings of his own garden, which is pretty spectacular. I saw it all in heavy rain, but it was a pretty cool little day trip. Even went into his house and everything.
I got back home Sunday night. As you can imagine, I miss Paris bigtime.
