Hey SG land! It's been a lil bit. I hope that everyone is staying safe and sane.
I know that my activity here has been waning and the past few weeks almost non existent. I have a very good reason for not being around that I'm sure you will all understand. There are several of you who follow me on IG and already know this, but I met a beautiful and amazing woman. Her name is Melissa. She's a customer at the dealership. I asked her out in late July and she said yes. Our schedules finally allowed us to go riding about 4 weeks ago. She has her own Harley trike. We had a wonderful time and hit things off. We have seen each other at least 2 or 3 times a week since then. We talk every night regardless of whether we were together or not. I am so incredibly happy! There is so much chemistry between us. I feel like a kid. I feel like this is the first time that I've been in love. I know that I'm definitely falling for her. I'm pretty much that she feels the same way. She loves to hold hands or take my arm while we are walking along. She gives THE BEST hugs. Neither one of us wants to let go. We have so much fun together. I can't remember the last time I have smiled so much because of one person, let alone one woman. We are taking it slowly, ODAAT, one day at a time.
This photo is from this past Thursday. We went riding around South Central Wisconsin before heading to Janesville for dinner. We put over 100 miles on. I had put about 210 on for the day but went to work before going to her house. At one point I noticed that she had pulled over so I turned around to see what was wrong. When I pulled up next to her she told me that her odometer showed 5555 miles so she stopped to get a picture because she had missed 4444. I smiled, put my head in my hands and said, cool, can we keep riding now? She is so damn adorable.
Last night she came over to my place for dinner. She brought everything, appetizers, main course, dessert and 2 bottles of wine. It was our first at home dinner and it was awesome. We talked, ate, drank and laughed. She rubbed my back so sweetly while we cuddled on my bed for a while before she went home.
This weekend we are getting out of town on our bikes. We're going to Davenport, Iowa and riding up to La Crosse, Wisconsin. I'm looking forward to showing her some amazing roads that she hasn't yet ridden and sites that she hasn't yet seen. All of this while we are experiencing life together.
I always look forward to what tomorrow will bring with Melissa because I'm sure that I'll be smiling for sure. I know that you all understand my absence while I make the most of this incredible opportunity. I took these a couple of weeks ago when we were out for dinner. She didn't want me to take her picture, but she gave in.
Be safe, be happy, be cool. Peace.
