Hey SG land. Here it is the last day of 2020, finally. I'm lucky to be able to say that it wasn't a total shit year for me, but it was certainly an odd year. I had over 16 weeks off of work this year, both voluntarily and forced. I was never in fear of losing my job though. In a year when so many people weren't working, the one thing that they were doing is riding their Harleys. After a voluntary furlough in the Spring (12 weeks) I have kept very busy. Working at the dealership 5 days a week and at a shop I have with a friend of mine 1 day a week. I managed to stay healthy, even though I contracted Covid in November. I credit my type O blood for not getting very sick, considering I've been a smoker for over 30 years. At least I got to take my annual trip to Florida to see my Mom for a week earlier this month and pick up my new, to me, car. I then spent 4 days driving home to Wisconsin stopping to see family and friends along the way.
The one constant to surviving throughout the year has been belonging to this kick ass community. There are so many amazing people here! I am so very happy to be a member of SG. I have been blessed this year to have so many people touch my life in one way or another. I tip my hat to all of you and offer a sincere and heartfelt thank you.
