Hi SG land. How is everyone doing? Tomorrow is Thanksgiving here in the U.S. so I just want to share some of my thoughts. This has been an incredibly strange and trying year, to say the least. I'm sure though that everyone still has things to be thankful for.
I am thankful for my loving and caring family. We are always there for each other, no matter what. I'm thankful for having a job that keeps a roof over my head and food on the table. I'm thankful for all of the freedoms that I enjoy because of our service members, past and present, who protect these freedoms. I'm thankful for all of our healthcare workers who have put their lives on hold and constantly go above and beyond to take care of those who are sick, especially with those with Covid. I'm thankful for all of the emergency personnel who put their lives on the line every day to keep our communities safe. I'm thankful for all of my friends that I can get together with, safely, and enjoy some fun and good conversation. I'm thankful for Covid not kicking my ass when I was diagnosed at the beginning of this month.
I am thankful for this amazing and inspiring community called Suicide Girls. This place has been especially uplifting this year. I was furloughed from work for 12 weeks in the Spring and spent a lot of time here. It gave me the opportunity to make some new friends and continue the friendships that I had already made. I'm especially thankful for all of the wonderful friends that I have here. There are too many to list and I don't want to leave anyone out, but you all know who you are. I love you all.
Be sure to check out my fun little Thanksgiving video.
Peace. 😎✌
