Hey SG land. What's up?
I'm just chilling at home tonight, like so many lately. I'm having a few beers and rocking out to Dio, the Evil or Devine show. I remember seeing him a couple of times. I saw him at Summerfest in Milwaukee from about 10 rows back from the Lazer 103 (rock music radio station) stage. I was lucky enough to get some photos. I think it was in 1995. There is a wicked drum solo and an amazing guitar solo within the first 50 minutes of this show. I love it! It takes me back to all of the kick ass rock concerts I was lucky enough to see back in the 80's and 90's.
I've been a service technician at a Harley-Davidson dealership for almost 22 years. It's hard to believe that it's been that long. I really don't know where the time has gone. Back in March, when I realized things were getting very serious with the virus, I volunteered to take a furlough from work. It has been 12 weeks since then. Tomorrow is my first day back at work. I'm kind of torn. I want to get back into some kind of routine, but I'm still very worried about the virus. We are nowhere close to out of the woods with this yet. None of the employees that have been working all this time have contracted the virus, so that eases my mind a little. I'm just going to continue to protect myself, and other people, the best that I can.
Over the past 12 weeks I have gotten a lot of support here and I just want to say thank you. This is physical distancing, but just the opposite of social distancing. I want to give a special thank you to, and this is no particular order, @felicity, @camicah, @francy, @luie, @chari, @star, @olgakulaga, @redkaya and @on_aquetzalli. You have all kept me company and helped me keep my sanity. I am grateful for each and every one of you and for this community. I love you all. 💖🥰💕😘
Here is the link for the rock show. Peace.
