Hi SGland.
I haven't posted for quite awhile. I just felt like sharing this with you.
These are some scary times we are encountering right now. Some of us have it worse than others, but either way, it's scary. Here in the U.S. I know that it is going to get a lot worse before it gets better. There is a shortage of tests available and there is a lag time to get the results so the numbers we are seeing are not even accurate. The Harley dealership where I work decided to stay open but with reduced hours and staff. I am on a voluntary furlough. My biggest priority right now is my health and well being. I was getting worried having to deal with the public, even though we aren't into riding season yet and aren't that busy. But people are anxious to get their bikes out of winter storage. I expressed my concern to my managers and that we need to be more proactive rather than reactive. They made a decision and so did I. They are paying my benefits at this time and I am eligible for unemployment so I will be okay financially.
What am I doing mentally? I am watching the news for a little bit each day to try and stay informed but don't want to get dragged down too much. I am watching TV for awhile. I am watching Youtube. I am an avid pool player and love to watch the pros to help improve my game. I am logging on here to get some sort of social interaction with the friends I have made here. I am thankful for the love and support from each and every one of you. We really are ALL in this together. I love this community. There is so much love. I can feel it and we are all better for it.
Everybody be safe out there. Stay home if you can so we can curb the spread of this nasty virus. We will overcome this but I believe that our lives will forever be changed by it.
Love to all! Peace!
