My Dad was here this week. It was an OK visit. He likes to build stuff, so I put him on some projects around the house. It was kind of cool that my birthday was this week. We hadn't been together on a birthday since I was 8.
He's a little odd, as he really doesn't have many people skills. He'd rather work on wood. As soon as the project is done, he is sitting down, watching Matlock or baseball. I get the picture that this is what he does every day. Oh well, it was still good to see him, even if there weren't a lot of fireworks.
