I have been remiss in not featuring my way cool puppy. His name is Titus and he is a good boy.



This week should be a test. The business is at a critical point in its launch. Most days I wll have to be three places at once. Thank god for technology.

Also entering my second week coaching 5 - 7 grade girls basketball. The first game was a challenge - our two best players were out, one grounded and one with a fractured leg from kick ball. Luckily we have one little girl that is faster with the ball than most girls are simply running. She threw up enough prayers to get us 18 points. Unfortunately the other team had 36. A big highlight was that one kind of shy and gangly girl suddenly realized there may be some benefits from being really tall. You could see her confidence grow over the course of one game. She's going to be fun to watch. My daughter was just happy that her shirt matched both her shorts and her hair tie. We all have our priorities.

I am fast approaching a decision point in my social life. I've got a friend who clearly wants it to be more, no matter what she says. I've been down that route and don't want to mislead her or waste her time. At the same time I have recently met another woman who is really interesting. I am not sure if we have a lot in common now, but there is a lot of commonality in how we got here. Oh, and she is right smack in the middle of my concept of pretty. It sucks being a nice guy, because it would be a lot easier if I didn't care if no one's feelings got hurt.
